Anjali Jaiman, MD
Biography
Hi! My name is Anjali. I grew up in New York City. I went to Swarthmore College for undergrad majoring in Sociology-Anthropology and Education. I worked for several years developing culturally relevant health education programming and interventions for South Asian women in the Bronx. I decided I wanted greater mathematics and science skills and went on to do my Master's in Physics at City College, and then a PhD in Mathematical Biology at the National Center for Biological Sciences in Bangalore India. I am so excited to be joining Brown Family Medicine. I hope to learn so much about community based healthcare in underserved communities in a place that truly believes in the mission of family medicine! I am interested in role of narrative medicine and big data in family medicine, health policy and medical education. I love cooking, swimming, building things and community organizing for better health and healthcare!
