Biography
I chose Kent because of the friendly and collegial atmosphere fostered by the faculty and because of the program’s dedication to serving the underserved. While interviewing at Kent everyone I encountered demonstrated genuine interest in my career goals and how Kent could help me achieve those. The faculty’s passion for teaching was clear and the current residents were all extremely friendly. Overall I felt that Kent had a welcoming team and would be a great place for me to train as a physician.
As a first generation immigrant from Ecuador, it was also important to me to pick a program that focused on bringing top notch health care to underserved communities. The Thundermist Clinic does just that and I’m confident that Kent will provide the training I need to practice in any type of community in the future.
I love board games, kayaking, traveling, trying new foods and relaxing at home with my husband, infant son and dogs.
