Jenna Nickas, MD
Biography
Hello! I am thrilled to be at Brown for my training in the field of Family Medicine. I grew up at the Jersey Shore (no, not that one) in the small beach town of Ocean City, NJ. I double majored in Classical Studies and Biology at the University of Pennsylvania, where I volunteered as an EMT and pursued an independent study in the field of ancient Greek medicine. Returning to New Jersey for medical school, I had the opportunity to hone my interest in women’s health and discover the specialty of Family Medicine. I am passionate about preventative health and providing culturally sensitive care to every patient I encounter. I feel humbled to have matched with Brown’s program and am looking forward to working with an incredible group of people. Outside of medicine, I love cooking my grandma’s (top secret) Italian recipes, hiking, and voraciously reading during any free time I can find.
