A graduate of PCOM-Georgia, Kate Bergen, DO grew up in Atlanta and Savannah. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Political Science with a minor in Spanish and studies abroad in Chile and Mexico and a Master's degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in International Affairs. She is fluent in Spanish! After spending a few years working with various non-profit and human rights organizations, Kate was inspired to pursue a medical degree. She is presently a 2nd year at the Skagit Regional Health Family Medicine Residency, which is a program in rural Washington state. Kate and her husband were looking to move back east to be closer to family.
Kate is passionate about OB and full scope family medicine. Fluent in Spanish, she looks forward to working with our Spanish speaking population and continuing to be involved in osteopathic manipulation. Kate is married and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, Lily. Her some of her interests include sailing, soccer, triathlons, rock climbing.
