Family Medicine

Hi! My name is Marleny aka "Leny" Acosta. I was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and I arrived to the US at the age of 4. I was raised in Washington Heights, NYC. I went to Fordham University for my Undergraduate education, and then attended Long Island University (LIU) where I completed a Master's in Microbiology. I am beyond excited to be joining the Brown Family Medicine residency program! I believe that their mission of providing full spectrum care to the underserved is well aligned with my goals. My interests in Family Medicine include women's health, reproductive health, global health and health advocacy. For fun, I love to sing, dance, watch movies, hike, and try out new restaurants!
