
Allison Parkhurst, LMHC
Biography
Alli Parkhurst joined the Kent Family Medicine Residency program in December of 2016 and is located at Thundermist Health Center, providing clinical services in addition to her work with the residency program. Alli earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Rhode Island; master’s in Thanatology at Hood College in Maryland and Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Rhode Island. Alli worked 10 years for Family Service of RI, a private non-profit social service agency serving children and families in RI. Mrs. Parkhurst has provided individual, couple and family therapy to adults and children, and transitioned into administrative work overseeing the outpatient clinical services and program development. Alli has been a per diem faculty at URI for the past 15 years teaching courses in Thanatology and is a nationally approved supervisor under the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
