Family Medicine

Hello! My name is Arturo Castillo and I am super excited to be joining Brown Family Medicine. I’m originally from the Bronx, NY and went to Brandeis University for undergrad. I was drawn to Brown FM because of its commitment to full-spectrum training with a strong emphasis on social justice. I also wanted to be close to my sister and her family, and love that Providence is a city full of great food and even better people.

I am interested in many aspects in family medicine, most notably obstetrics, immigrant health, and community leadership.

In my free time, I love doing anything active with some of my favorite things to do being working out and playing soccer or basketball. I also love watching all sports and am looking forward to becoming a superfan of some of the local teams. On Friday nights you can probably catch me eating McDonalds and watching reality TV with my friends.
