Benji Cole, MD
Biography
Benji Cole earned his bachelor's degree in Community Health & Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies and went to medical school at Tufts University. During medical school, Cole organized with local immigrant communities, working as a street medic during protests and was the student delegate on the MassAFP starting a few statewide programs.
Cole knew that Family Medicine was the right fit after noticing that all mentors were FM physicians who practiced with a deep sense of social justice while having dynamic careers (and lives). Cole chose Brown FM for its commitment to social justice, global health, its proximity to family, and its broad scope including strong OB. Cole is thrilled to be starting residency with such inspiring and passionate co-residents while also living near a twin, a twin-in-law, and a twephew.
Benji grew up with two siblings, many pets and more energy than most. Outside the clinic you can find Benji at morning meditation, board game nights, hiking or reading sci/fi or non-fiction.
