Catherine Phamduy, MD
Biography
Hello there! My name is Catherine. I grew up in Lowell, Massachusetts and completed my bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. During my undergraduate years, my experiences with the underserved community influenced me to become a physician. I attended the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where the opportunities to connect with those in homeless shelters and hospice facilities have solidified my desire to join family medicine. I have a strong interest in palliative medicine and working with underserved populations. I chose Brown because their focus on community-based medicine is exactly the type of training I would want as a family doctor. I am super excited to be working with amazing colleagues and I can’t wait to meet the vibrant community in Rhode Island! Personally, my hobbies include taking walks, listening to music, and folding origami.
