Danielle Voke, DO
Biography
Hi there! I’m Danielle, and I’m so excited to be joining Brown Family Medicine and returning to my roots in New England. I grew up in Massachusetts and studied Behavioral Neuroscience at Northeastern University. After college, I earned my Masters of Public Health at Dartmouth and later attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Before medical school, I worked in public health and pandemic response, serving as a state epidemiologist during the early days of COVID-19. In medical school, I found joy in building programs like a Mini Medical School for local high school students and helping lead a free clinic serving uninsured patients in Chicago.
My clinical interests include family and child health, reproductive justice, addiction medicine, and public health. I chose Brown for its strong commitment to health equity and full-spectrum family medicine, with additional training in gender-affirming and reproductive care. I was also drawn to the program’s strong sense of community and support, and I’m excited to be part of such a wonderful team.
Outside of medicine, you will find me running long distances, chasing my kids around, growing vegetables in my backyard, swimming in the ocean, or reading a good book.
