Emily Munn, DO
Biography
Hello! I grew up in Webster, NY, a suburb of Rochester. I completed my B.S. in Biology with a minor in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies at Allegheny College in rural Pennsylvania followed by a Master's in Public Health, focusing on maternal mortality in the U.S. I earned my medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine.
I’m very excited to be part of Brown Family Medicine and was drawn to the genuine people of the program and their commitment to health and community. I’m looking forward to practicing full-spectrum family medicine and learning more about Rhode Island and Providence. My interests in medicine include prenatal and postpartum care, community and street medicine, LGBTQ+ medicine, and caring for whole families.
Outside of medicine, I can be found reading multiple books at once, cross-stitching, or caring for dozens of house plants. My spouse and I love spending time together exploring new restaurants and beaches and caring for our cats.
