Emily Munn, DO
Biography
Emily Munn grew up in Webster, NY, a suburb of Rochester and completed a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies at Allegheny College in rural Pennsylvania followed by a Master's in Public Health, focusing on maternal mortality in the U.S. Munn earned a medical degree at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine.
Munn is very excited to be part of Brown Family Medicine and was drawn to the genuine people of the program and their commitment to health and community. Munn is looking forward to practicing full-spectrum family medicine and learning more about Rhode Island and Providence.
Munn's interests in medicine include prenatal and postpartum care, community and street medicine, LGBTQ+ medicine, and caring for whole families.
Outside of medicine, Munn can be found reading multiple books at once, cross-stitching, or caring for dozens of house plants. Munn's and spouse love spending time together exploring new restaurants and beaches and caring for their cats.
