Biography

Dr. Katherine McCleary is the Director of Family Medicine at Women & Infants Hospital and was interim director of the Maternal Child Health curriculum for the Brown Family Medicine Residency from 2018 to 2019. She completed medical school at New York Medical College and came to Brown University in 2008 for her residency in Family Medicine. She has also completed a fellowship in Maternal Child Health at Brown. Dr. McCleary practices full spectrum Family Medicine, focusing on obstetrics and newborn care. She focuses on family centered birth and a holistic approach to mother and baby care. She has been practicing at Care New England Medical Group Family Medicine Lincoln (formerly of Plainville) since 2012, and has been the medical director of that practice since 2013. Outside of medicine, Dr. McCleary enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and dog.
