Kelly Sanchez, MD
Biography
Hi, I'm Kelly, and I'm from Connecticut. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Saint Joseph in Connecticut, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Biology and minored in Psychology. After undergrad, I worked as a medical scribe in a busy family medicine practice, which is where my love for family medicine began. I attended medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada and lived on the beautiful island. During my time there, I participated in several community engagement events that allowed me to give back to the local community and further fueled my passion for community medicine.
I chose Brown because I was looking for a full-spectrum family medicine training program with a strong focus on serving underserved communities. My career interests include preventive medicine, lifestyle medicine, procedures, and family planning. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and going to the beach.
