Lexi Lang, MD
Biography
I grew up in Narrowsburg, NY, a small town that taught me the value of close community and long-term relationships. I completed my BA in Biological Anthropology with a minor in Hebrew at Boston University, followed by a Master’s in Medical Anthropology at Oxford University, where I focused on evolutionary birthing environments. I earned my MD at Tufts University School of Medicine, where I co-founded Medical Student Doulas and was honored as a Sam W. Ho Health Justice Scholar.
My passion lies in full-spectrum care for women and children — including abortion care, breastfeeding medicine, birth work, and comprehensive primary care across the lifespan. I am committed to providing equitable, patient-centered care that addresses the unique needs of underserved populations.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my 2-year-old and husband, cooking (especially bread!), and exploring new restaurants, breweries, and wineries with my family and friends. I’m excited to train at Brown, where the program’s values closely align with my commitment to community and advocacy, and to call Rhode Island home for the next chapter of my career.
