Biography
Hi, I'm Maha from New York! Born in Yonkers and raised in upstate New York, I chose to pursue my medical journey in Pakistan to connect with my heritage and gain diverse clinical experiences across various cultures. During medical school, I actively participated in community outreach programs that provided screenings, vaccinations, and health education to underserved populations. I am passionate about diversity and inclusion in healthcare, preventive medicine, women's health, and mental health advocacy.
My hobbies include playing tennis, board games, painting, hiking, and enjoying time with family and friends. I am committed to making a meaningful contribution in addressing healthcare disparities to ensure everyone has the chance to lead a healthy life. I was drawn to the Brown Family Medicine Residency Program for its dedication to community engagement, health equity, and enthusiasm for inclusivity and diversity. I am proud to be part of such a supportive and caring team!
