Maria Urbina Castillo, MD

Biography

Maria Urbina Castillo is originally from Venezuela, growing up all over Queens, New York before settling down in Oyster Bay on Long Island. Maria earned her undergraduate degree at Tufts University and went to medical school at Jacobs School of Medicine in Buffalo.

Maris is super excited to be part of Brown Family Medicine because of the programs unwavering commitment to its community and robust training opportunities. Maria notes that the staff, faculty, and residents are incredibly supportive and is  so proud to be part of this team. 

Outside of medicine, Maria loves baking for friends and family (specifically cookies) and enjoys watching reality tv and reading/listening to audiobooks.
