Michael Chaoui, DO
Biography
Michael Chaoui earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from College of the Holy Cross before earning a medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Chaoui served as Co-Chair of the Holy Cross Ballroom Dance Team, fostering a supportive community for dancers. He also mentored first-year students as an Anatomy Tutor at LECOM. As a Youth Leadership Coordinator for AmeriCorps, he mentored 4th-grade students through remote learning. He also volunteered at Bampa’s House, an end-of-life facility, providing medication and meal support.
He co-authored research analyzing DO vs. MD match rates in surgical specialties. He also takes pride in his role as a medical scribe, where he built cross-cultural
awareness while assisting immigrant populations. Chaoui aspires to be a "friendly neighborhood doctor," focusing on lifelong connections and a scope of practice that spans from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Outside of medicine, Chaoui enjoys ballroom dancing, hiking, video games (Magic: The Gathering), playing the ukulele, skiing, and taking road trips in his Subaru.
