Pryscilla Yoon, MD
Biography
Originally from the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C, I completed my undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis before earning my medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. My interests within family medicine include caring for underserved communities, adolescent health, procedures, and lifestyle medicine. I am especially drawn to the breadth of family medicine and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while helping them improve their health through preventive, whole-person care.
I chose Brown Family Medicine Residency because of the close-knit community, mission-driven commitment to underserved patients, and rigorous training in full-spectrum family medicine. I was also excited by the opportunity to train in diverse clinical settings and learn from physicians who are deeply committed to both excellent patient care and resident support.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy cooking, exploring coffee shops, staying active through badminton and spending time outdoors. I also love discovering new places to eat, being in nature, and spending time with family and friends.
