Biography
I chose the Brown Family Medicine/Kent Hospital residency because of the camaraderie and warmth I felt immediately amongst all the residents, and because I identified with the program's mission to provide patient-centered, equitable care to anyone and everyone that walks through the door.
Before attending medical school, I worked in the documentary film world for 5 years. I still have a passion for all things related to photography, film, and storytelling. I love narrative medicine and the medical humanities, as well as palliative & hospice care, a setting where storytelling and life review can be powerful healing.
