Ryleigh Randall, MD
Biography
Hi there! My name is Ry, and I am thrilled to be part of Brown Family Medicine. I’m originally from a small town in rural Alabama, and I went to Auburn University for college where I earned a degree in laboratory sciences.
I attended medical school at the University of South Alabama. While in medical school, I was able to teach citizenship/English classes to resettled refugees and help my students apply for U.S. Citizenship. I was also a support group facilitator for an organization that provides resources for LGBTQ+ kids and teens in Southwest Alabama. My passion for serving the LGBTQ+ community as well as refugee/immigrant communities is shared by this program, which is one of the many reasons why I fell in love with Brown Family Medicine!
From my first contact with Brown, it was clear that this program was built on a culture of mutual respect, compassion, and a drive to provide the best healthcare possible. The more I learned about Brown Family Medicine, the more impressed I was with the robust training, top-notch faculty, and stellar current and past residents. I couldn’t be happier to be part of this incredible group of physicians!
My clinical interests include care for the LGBTQ+ community, gender-affirming care, care for people living with HIV, immigrant/refugee health, and wilderness medicine. Outside of medicine, I love hiking/camping, collecting vinyl records, weightlifting, and playing board games with my wife (even though she always wins!)
