Shea Buckley, DO, MS
Biography
Shea Buckley earned a Bachelor's of Science from Simmons University before earning a medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Buckley served as President of the Medical Student Pride Alliance (MSPA) and were an Academic Medicine Scholar with a focus on teaching. They are a digital crisis counselor for The Trevor Project and served as an asylum clinic scribe drafting court affidavits. Achievements: They received the LGBTQ+ Pride Scholarship from the American Osteopathic Foundation and managed eight national clinical trials while working as a research coordinator at The Fenway Institute.
Buckley's interests within Family Medicine include LGBTQIA+ advocacy, reproductive justice, radically just healthcare, and medical education.
Outside of medicine, Buckley enjoys sewing and mending their own clothes, block printing, painting, listening to fiction audiobooks, and finding beach glass.
