Dr. Dixon completed his Family Medicine residency at United Family Medicine in Saint Paul, MN. A National Health Service Scholar, after his training he worked at Unity Health Care in Washington, DC where he was based at a community health center that served a primarily immigrant population. He also ran a weekly clinic for patients experiencing homelessness, and during the COVID-19 pandemic cared for patients in the DC Jail. At Unity, he served as the Regional Director of Medical Education for the local campus of ATSU School of Osteopathic Medicine, and then as Associate Program Director for the DC site of The Wright Center's National Family Medicine Residency Program. Currently, he is the Medical Director of the Family Care Center in Pawtucket. His interests in medicine include Point of Care Ultrasound, Women's Health, and Asylum Medicine. Outside of work, he spends his time foraging, fermenting various liquids, hiking in the White Mountains, and watching the Boston Celtics.
