Biography
I chose the Brown Family Medicine Residency for a variety of reasons! As someone interested in rural health I wanted to get the best training I could in areas such as gender affirming care, behavioral health care, and women’s primary health care (amongst others) because I often see rural patients needing to travel far or use telehealth for these facets of care. I am also very passionate about health policy and felt that Brown could best shape me into the advocate I want to become. Additionally, the people at Brown have been so kind and welcoming since day one. During my time at Brown I look forward to forging strong friendships with coresidents and mentors, and finally learning how to pronounce quahog.
