Family Medicine

Alex Han, MD earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Science & Society from Brown University. Han then earned his medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Prior to medical school, Han spent a year as a Medical Science Liaison at New Amsterdam Genomics in New York. 

Han's favorite part about Rhode Island and the Brown Family Medicine family is how welcoming and inclusive they both are, and how they provide a safe haven for people from incredibly diverse backgrounds. Han is excited to return and learn from the wonderful faculty and residents, and help deliver compassionate care to the community. 

Outside of medicine, Han loves gardening and farmers' markets, frequently thinking about food, cooking it, arcade games, comedy podcasts, and rediscovering music from his childhood while working out.
