Debra earned her MSW at the University of Pittsburgh and has a Ph.D. from the Simmons College School of Social Work in Boston. She has practiced in a variety of clinical settings, most recently working in the EAP field for Sobel and Raciti Associates, Inc. where she was Manager of Clinical Services. For 11 years Debra was a clinician at Butler Hospital in Providence where she specialized in the treatment of individuals with eating disorders and their families. She has maintained a private practice in Rhode Island since 1994. Debra is also an experienced teacher and educator in the clinical social work field, having held faculty positions at Providence College, Rhode Island College and the Simmons School of Social work.
