Ivy Ngo, DO
Biography
I came to know the Brown Family Medicine Residency program at the Warwick site after spending the majority of my third year of medical school at Kent Hospital. I knew this was where I would want to spend the rest of my medical training when I was able to experience first-hand the collaborative and supportive environment. I also got to learn about and witness the ways the program advocates, not only for its residents, but also for its patients both inside and outside of the medical setting.
Within the multiple opportunities in Family Medicine, I find myself drawn to medicated-assisted treatment and reproductive healthcare, and I hope to eventually practice in an urban underserved area.
Outside of medicine, you can find me wither eating all-you-can-eat sushi or taking down a giant bowl of past. Besides eating, I enjoy completing jigsaw puzzles with 1000+ pieces or sitting in the sun (with SPF on) with a good book. Being a city girl at heart, I appreciate good, reliable public transportation to explore different parts of any city.
