Family Medicine

My name is Julia and I am so excited to be joining the Brown Family Medicine residency program. I have lived in Boston area for the past 10 years and am excited to be staying nearby in Providence!

I chose Brown University and Kent Hospital for my residency because of the opportunity to receive hands on, full-spectrum family medicine training at a program which values reproductive and social justice. The sense of community among the program’s residents and the faculty support drew me to Brown FM. 

My interests in family medicine include reproductive health care, family planning, and addiction medicine. I enjoy cooking new recipes, reading, going to the beach with my goggles to look at the hermit crabs, yoga, and eating Flaming Hot Cheetos while watching reality television with friends.
