Kaan Apaydin, MD
Biography
Warwick site, with its community-oriented, patient-centric focus, aligned perfectly with the type of training I was seeking during my family medicine residency. There are plenty of reasons why I believe the Warwick site is a good fit for me. I hope to serve transgender and non-binary patients in the future, and the rigorous training on gender-affirming care care integrated into primary care offered an unparalleled training opportunity. Moreover, the broad scope of procedural training incorporated into daily clinics, along with working with an integrated team, both in the hospital and the clinic, to provide comprehensive care to people from all walks of life, resonated well with how I wanted to practice medicine.
When I am not practicing medicine, you can find me traveling to a new country, cycling in New England while enjoying the beautiful views of nature, or reading a horror/thriller book at home. As I am originally from Türkiye, I love finding new places that make good Turkish food or trying recipes of dishes that I enjoyed while growing up in Istanbul.
