Biography
I was born and grew up in Cooperstown, a small town in Upstate New York. I went to college at Stanford University, where I studied English Literature. My interest in narrative and storytelling drew me to medicine and and I returned to New York for medical school at Columbia University. In medical school, I became very interested in community based health advocacy and healthcare justice. I worked with the student run clinic Q clinic and I also helped develop and implement curriculum in LGBTQ healthcare across the health professional schools at Columbia. I am excited to be joining the Brown Family Medicine residency and I hope to continue to learn and work in the areas of health education, community engagement, and health advocacy.
