Biography
When it came time to choose a Family Medicine residency program, I knew I wanted to go somewhere that offered opportunities for community engagement beyond patient care, provided a robust Osteopathic curriculum, and was close to home. The Warwick site of the Brown University program satisfied all these desires and more. On interview day, it was clear that this program had built a tight knit workforce that shared a passion for caring for and advocating for the diverse, underserved, and vulnerable communities of Rhode Island. This spoke volumes to me, as Rhode Island is my home state and where I plan to practice as a Family Medicine Physician. After learning more about the Osteopathic track, hearing about the program’s genuine care for the well being of their residents, and witnessing the mutual respect between residents and attending physicians, I could not picture myself going anywhere else for residency!
Within Family Medicine, I have a passion for Women’s health, LGBTQ+ health, and the incorporation of Osteopathic techniques into the care of patients. Outside of medicine, I enjoy completing jigsaw puzzles, hiking, skiing, going to the beach, and spending time with friends, family, and my cat Blu!
