Olivia Stone, MD
Biography
I chose Brown Family Medicine because I felt welcomed and encouraged as a learner during my rotations as a medical student across all their clinical sites: the Family Care Center, the Miriam Hospital, and Women & Infants FMOB service. The attendings and residents in the Brown FM family really valued my input and cared about my learning and wellbeing. I'm excited to continue working with the diverse patient population here in Rhode Island and to have a chance to grow my Spanish skills alongside my clinical skills. Practicing in Rhode Island also presents unique opportunities for advocacy and community engagement that I look forward to taking advantage of. I have loved calling Rhode Island my home during medical school and am thrilled to continue to do so as a resident!
Within medicine, I'm really interested in all things reproductive health, including birth and abortion care. I'm also interested in population health and preventive medicine. In my personal time, I love walking my dog, Lola, exploring Rhode Island with my partner, knitting, sewing clothes, and crocheting.
