Rebecca Zapf-Pedrazza, MD
Biography
Hello there, my name is Rebecca (she/her/hers). I received my Bachelor of Science from Central Connecticut State University and went on to study medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. I chose family medicine because I believe it best combines the things I love most: science, advocacy, and creativity. Within family medicine I have specialized interests and experience in LGBTQ+ advocacy, gender affirming care, HIV+/AIDS service work, mental health care, and harm reduction. I believe strongly in promoting diversity, equity, and justice within both medicine and society at large. I felt as though Brown was the perfect fit given all of these passions, and I am so excited to continue to grow with the Brown Family Medicine community!
Outside of practicing medicine, you will likely find me with my spouse and small creatures. Some of my favorite things are music, video games, food, poetry, nature, and Star Trek!
