Brown Family Medicine & Kent Hospital Receive Five-Year HRSA Grant for Street Medicine Training

This five-year Primary Care Training and Enhancement Residency Training in Street Medicine (PCTE-RTSM) grant from the U.S. Department of Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will support and train our family medicine residents in street medicine.

As one of the oldest family medicine residency programs in the country, continuously accredited by the ACGME since 1975, we blend a long tradition of excellence in residency training with evidence-based innovations in education.

Fellowship Programs

The Department of Family Medicine offers fellowship opportunities in the areas of Global Health and Primary Care Diabetology.

Medical Student Education

Our medical student education program is guided by a mission to teach the next generation of physicians the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to provide first-rate primary care.
