20 Honored with 2025 Excellence Awards
The Brown Department of Family Medicine proudly congratulates 20 faculty members and residents recognized with the 2025 Excellence Awards. These honors celebrate individuals who exemplify outstanding dedication to the mission and values of the Division of Biology and Medicine.
A competitive program, the Excellence Awards celebrate a small group of individuals and teams each year for their exceptional contributions to Brown University and the local community in one of eight categories. The Clinical Faculty Advisory Committee (CFAC) Award is presented to clinical and clinician educator track faculty who are outstanding educators. Positive Champions of the Learning Environment consistently demonstrate behaviors that promote a healthy and inclusive learning environment for Warren Alpert Medical students. The Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award recognizes the dedicated Warren Alpert Medical School faculty and residents who are exceptional teachers and mentors.
